An ultra-stiff and ultra-light integrated carbon road handlebar

The R01 cockpit is a monocoque steering unit calibrated to optimize power transfer and reduce frontal area. Its hybrid composite construction combines Toray T800 carbon fiber, to dissipate peripheral vibrational frequencies, with structural T1000 carbon reinforcements locking the torsional axes at the stem and drops. Power transfer is direct, with zero loss during sprints.

The development of the R01 relies on a logic of ultra-compatibility and integrated hardware performance. Weighing in at an ultra-light 340g (420x100 mm configuration), it fits all standard 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) steerer tubes. Its architecture accepts fully internal, semi-internal, or external cable routing. The cockpit is delivered ready for integration, including as standard a multi-insert aero carbon computer mount, a headset spacer set, and titanium hardware to eliminate any risk of corrosion.

Steering geometry: 84 mm reach and 128 mm drop. Ergonomic profile calibrated for fast transitions to the hoods and stable hand placement.

Aerodynamic design: Reduced frontal section and flat top profile to optimize airflow.

Ultra-compatibility: Compatible with hydraulic hoses and drivetrains (mechanical or electronic) via internal, semi-internal, or external routing.

Hardware: Machined black-finish titanium hardware and carbon top cap included as standard.

Carbon GPS mount included: Carbon mount supplied with interchangeable Garmin, Wahoo, and Bryton inserts, plus a lower GoPro or light mount.

Adjustable: Delivered with a complete set of compatible spacers.

Compatibility

The R01 cockpit is compatible with OD2 standard steering systems (28.6 mm / 1-1/8" steerer tube). The fluid integration system is designed to fit almost all modern road bikes, regardless of the routing type (internal, semi-internal, or external).

Note: This component is not compatible with Canyon's proprietary ecosystem (closed steerer diameter and routing).
