CYKL Commercial Guarantees

• All CYKL titanium components (frames, forks, seatposts, stems…) are guaranteed for life .
• All CYKL carbon components (handlebars, stems, cockpits, forks…) are guaranteed for 2 years .
• For products from other brands resold by CYKL, please refer to the manufacturer's warranties specific to those brands.

These commercial guarantees are in addition to the applicable legal guarantees.

Legal guarantee

Articles 217-4 to 217-7 of the Consumer Code : 2 years.

• The legal guarantee of conformity applies independently of any commercial guarantee granted.
• The product under warranty will, at the manufacturer's discretion, be exchanged or repaired .
• The Buyer may invoke the warranty against hidden defects as defined in Article 1641 of the Civil Code and choose between rescinding the sale or reducing the price , in accordance with Article 1644 of the Civil Code.

Exclusions

All warranties are excluded in cases of misuse, negligence, or lack of maintenance by the Buyer, normal wear and tear, accident, or force majeure. CYKL's warranty is limited to the replacement or refund of non-conforming or defective products.

• Replacement of consumables.
• Abnormal or improper use of the products.
• Damages are specifically mentioned in the product descriptions.
• Defects and consequences due to the intervention of the Buyer or a third party.
• Defects and consequences related to use that is not in accordance with the intended purpose of the product.
• Defect known to the Buyer at the time of purchase.

Manufacturer warranties (third-party products)

The scope of manufacturer warranties varies depending on the product and brand and is available on the product pages of the Site. Exclusions are similar: misuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, accident, force majeure.

The product under warranty will, at the manufacturer's discretion, be exchanged or repaired .

Implementation

• The Buyer provides CYKL with their contact details, product references and any information justifying the claim.
• A return number will be assigned to expedite processing.
• The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging (if possible) with its accessories.
• In the event of depreciation due to excessive handling, CYKL reserves the right to issue reservations.
