Welded to the top tube, without touching the seat tube. This design provides greater comfort, lateral stiffness, and style. A GRAAVE signature since its first version.

HORIZONTAL TUBE

The top tube combines three optimizations: hydroformed for greater front-end stiffness and precision, stretched to variable thickness to reduce weight without sacrificing strength, and vertically ovalized for greater comfort and more dynamic handling.

Triple inserts

Each mounting point on the GRAAVE is made up of three inserts . This detail provides greater flexibility in mounting frame bags, panniers, bottle cages and accessory mounts for greater modularity and flexibility.

2X MECHANICAL DUCT OUTLET

Fully CNC machined , this bottom bracket with T47 standard internal bearings guarantees better energy transmission, increased rigidity and optimized bearing life, while facilitating the passage of the sheaths internally.

YOKE CNC

The asymmetrical YOKE, machined from a single block of titanium, reduces chain slap, accepts wide tires and a chainring up to 48T, integrates internal cable routing, and reinforces rigidity for better efficiency.

UDH PAW

Rear derailleur hanger to UDH standard (universal derailleur hanger).

This bracket is easily found all over the world. Compatible with all market transmissions and SRAM direct mount T-type derailleurs . The rear chainstays are standard 142-12 mm

INTEGRATED HEADSET

All our headsets are integrated into the frame . This protects them from the elements and improves the aerodynamics of the bikes while allowing the cables to pass internally . The same bearings are used at the top and bottom. They are easily found and replaced without tools .

An innovative design for greater comfort and rigidity

On the GRAAVE, the seatstays don't touch the seat tube. No, they aim higher: welded directly to the top tube , in a climbing style towards performance. This exclusive design by CYKL redistributes constraints like a conductor, to boost comfort and performance .

The result? The seat post is freed from vibrations , which are absorbed by the top tube. Less jolting, more long-lasting comfort , especially on rough terrain or with heavy rear end. The seat tube no longer acts as a pivot axis , and a triangulation of forces reinforces the rigidity around the transmission.

The rear triangle gains vertical flexibility to filter out irregularities, while maintaining lateral rigidity . The frame remains stable, lively, precise , even when it's going strong - and even when it's loaded. Unlike others that stop halfway, the GRAAVE pushes the concept to the limit.

Titanium, carbon or ... fork

The GRAAVE is available with our carbon or titanium forks. The carbon version is lightweight, absorbs vibrations and boosts dynamic handling —perfect for riding fast and well.

The titanium version, on the other hand, plays the indestructible card: rigid when braking , precise when cornering , ultra-reliable for long rides, tough bikepacking and conditions that lead to freestyle.

Both swallow 50C , like dynamos , 160 mm disc brakes and thru axles . Clean design, slick integration, top reliability.

And if you like velvety comfort: the GRAAVE also accepts 50 mm suspension forks like the ROCKSHOX Rudy or the KIND SHOCK GTC .

Optimal tire changeover

The GRAAVE accepts tires up to 700 × 50 C. A rare range that lets you adapt the bike to your riding style: slicks for asphalt, knobbly treads for technical singletrack, mixed treads for long distances. It's up to you to choose the tire size, the terrain, and the grip.

We work with the best brands on the market, like Pirelli and Hutchinson . Hutchinson is made in France. A global leader, developed and manufactured here. Available as an option with your installation or directly in our online store.

GEOMETRY

The GRAAVE is a little big compared to the RAAVE but smaller than the AARNY

Its geometry is compensated for 50 mm suspension forks with a fork spacing of 410 mm, but it is also available in assembly with our 395 mm forks for more "road" assemblies.

With a balanced stack reach ratio of 1.5 , its geometry prioritizes comfort . The 73.5° seat tube angle places your center of gravity in a central and stable position in the middle of the bike. The 72.5° headset will favor lateral maneuverability in technical sections. The seat stays are long enough to give the GRAAVE longitudinal stability and allow it to accept tires up to 700 × 50 C. Such a tire section will ensure comfort and grip. The bottom bracket is a little higher than the average gravel bike to make it easier to overcome obstacles.

The frame sloping is light to promote the bike's dynamism with moderate saddle exit.

1. Comfort and nervousness: the perfect balance

The top tube incorporates a notable advancement in titanium frame engineering, based on three key optimizations.

It is hydroformed to offer variable geometry: wider at the junction with the head tube to increase frontal stiffness and steering precision, and narrower at the seat tube for better distribution of structural stresses.

It is also butted (stretched to variable thickness), with thinned walls in its center, allowing a significant reduction in weight while maintaining robustness at the stressed ends. This configuration also improves vibration filtration , contributing to smoother behavior on uneven terrain.

Finally, the tube is ovalized in the vertical axis, providing controlled vertical flexibility for better comfort, while increasing lateral rigidity . This technical compromise optimizes dynamic relaunches and control of the bike in the committed riding phase.

2. Smart integration and practicality

The integrated bearing headset allows for completely internal cable routing. The result: a cleaner cockpit, with no exposed cables, ideal for easily attaching bags to the handlebars. This also prevents the cables from getting caught on branches when riding in the forest.

3. Ergonomics, adaptability and lasting performance

The GRAAVE is equipped with four mounting zones for bottle cages or accessories. Each zone is composed of three inserts as well as attachment points for luggage racks and mudguards, offering complete modularity.

Designed for use with our Gravel-specific handlebars and cockpits, the GRAAVE is compatible with the vast majority of stems and handlebars on the market.

3. Standard and scalability

LE GRAAVE uses a large number of standards to allow you to maintain and upgrade it for many years.

Like the T47 format bottom bracket with internal bearings (86 mm) which offers optimal rigidity. The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) allows compatibility with the latest SRAM T-type derailleurs, allowing cassettes up to 10-52T. This standard also ensures the availability of UDH derailleur hangers worldwide.

The round seat tube with a diameter of 27.2 mm is compatible with telescopic seatposts, with an internal cable routing. The upper and lower headset bearings are the same (40 x 52 x 7). They are easy to find and can be changed without tools, which facilitates maintenance and repairs. The wheel axles are 142 x 12 and 100 x 12 mm through axles.

What size tires can be fitted?

Up to 700x50C. Enough to cover all uses: fast slicks, committed knobbies, or mixed profiles. The bike is designed to adapt to your practice.

What is the transmission compatibility?

The GRAAVE is compatible with all drivetrains on the market : single and double chainrings, electronic or mechanical. Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo, L-TWOO. It even accepts SRAM T-Type MTB derailleurs for mullet mounting.

Why the stays on the top tube?

To isolate the seatpost from vibrations coming from the rear wheel and improve lateral stiffness . This is a CYKL innovation. Unlike other previous designs, our seatstays do not touch the seat tube. The result: long-lasting comfort and explosive rebounds.
