The Touareg Race Gridskin is Hutchinson's competitive gravel tire designed for dry, fast-rolling terrain. As the brand's first gravel tire featuring GridSkin reinforcement, it protects the sidewalls against cuts and tears from sharp rocks with minimal impact on weight and rolling resistance. Borrowed from Hutchinson's road racing range, the Mach Tread 3.0 compound delivers optimal rolling efficiency and rebound on hardpack surfaces. Made in France, available in 40, 45, and 50 mm.

GridSkin sidewall reinforcement: the knitted mesh isolates cuts and tears. On rocky terrain, sharp stones that would slash a standard sidewall are stopped in their tracks—keeping you in the race.

Uncompromised rolling efficiency: unlike conventional reinforcement layers, GridSkin adds minimal weight and rolling resistance. The tire retains pure race performance across fast sections.

Mach Tread 3.0 compound: sourced from Hutchinson's high-performance road tires, this compound ensures speed and rebound on dry, hardpack terrain without sacrificing cornering grip.

126–127 TPI Tubeless Ready casing: run tubeless at low pressure to conform to the ground, mute vibrations, and expand the contact patch on high-speed descents.

Compatibility

The Touareg Race Gridskin is a 700c Tubeless Ready tire with folding beads, available in 40, 45, and 50 mm widths (ETRTO 40-622, 45-622, 50-622). It mounts tubeless on 700c rims using tubeless rim tape and sealant.
