Advanced technical details – ELITE MARVEL II
Rims
The MARVEL II rims feature an internal width of 23 mm and an external width of 31 mm , ideal for 28 to 30 mm tires. This combination enhances grip, ride comfort, and overall aerodynamics. The tubeless-ready construction with reduced hooks , compliant with ETRTO standards, combines safety, compatibility, and performance, even at high pressures.
Alpina Ultralight spokes
The MARVEL II wheels use Alpina Ultralight Aero spokes , made in Italy. Lightweight, stiff, and aerodynamic, they offer excellent power transfer, long lifespan, and a significant weight reduction compared to previous generations.
Motion ratchet hub
The Motion hub features a pawl system proven in the World Tour , with 5-axis CNC machining and S&S ceramic bearings mounted with a precision of ±0.02 mm . It guarantees ultra-smooth, durable, and energy-efficient rolling, even under high loads.
Testing and validation
Each pair of MARVEL II wheels undergoes more than 20 laboratory tests : stiffness, durability, UCI impact. Aerodynamics are validated by CFD, wind tunnel testing , and field feedback from our sponsored UCI cycling teams.
