Is a titanium fork stiff enough for competitive gravel racing?

Yes. Our Tri-Process architecture concentrates material where mechanical stress is highest. Lateral flex is completely locked out, providing ultra-precise steering in corners and under heavy braking. On the field, acceleration is explosive and the fork does not deform, making carbon forks feel almost "soft" in comparison, while better filtering high-speed vibrations.

Does the higher weight compared to carbon penalize the bike's responsiveness?

No, the benefit is dynamic. The slight difference in mass shifts the weight downwards. This lowered center of gravity improves steering inertia: the bike gains stability at high speeds and dives more easily into tight corners. You gain a planted front end, without any heavy feeling in the steering.

How do I confirm the compatibility of the 385 mm version with my current frame?

Integration requires modern standards: 1"⅛ – 1"½ tapered steerer, 100x12 mm thru-axle, and Flat Mount caliper. The critical criterion is the axle-to-crown length. Switching from a 400 mm or longer fork to this 385 mm version will steepen the head angle and lower your cockpit for a more aggressive position. Measure your current fork before finalizing your choice.

Is this fork compatible with long-distance riding and dynamo hubs?

Yes, thanks to a custom configuration. For purely sporty use, the version without eyelets offers the lightest and cleanest lines. For ultra-distance or light bikepacking, the version with eyelets allows for cage installation and features clean cable routing to power your lighting via a dynamo hub.

RAAVE Titanium Gravel Race Fork | 385mm

The definitive upgrade: rediscover the responsiveness and precision of an indestructible front end.

Our titanium forks, like all our titanium components, are backed by a lifetime warranty.

Replacing your carbon fork with this titanium model radically transforms your bike's dynamics. Optimized with a 385 mm length, this fork lowers the cockpit and the center of gravity. The result is significantly sharper handling: the bike hits the apex with pinpoint precision and absorbs late braking without deflection. Where carbon can feel harsh and bouncy at high speeds, titanium filters out high frequencies, ensuring optimal terrain feedback to maintain your momentum on rough tracks.

Thanks to our Tri-Process manufacturing protocol, we eliminate the main historical flaw of titanium forks: the lack of lateral stiffness. By combining 3D printing, forging, and hydroforming, the structure becomes ultra-stiff under the stress of hard accelerations and heavy braking. Impervious to corrosion and mechanical fatigue, titanium gives this component an indestructible robustness. Once accustomed to this reactivity and reliability, switching back to a carbon fork will highlight a vague and fragile feeling at the front of your bike.

Key Features

Tri-Process Technology: The combination of 3D printing, forging, and hydroforming to lock out lateral flex and guarantee absolute steering precision at high speed.

Race Geometry (385 mm): A reduced axle-to-crown height to shift the mass forward, lower the cockpit, and make the steering incredibly reactive.

Optimized Clearance: Designed to accept tires up to 700x45C, the perfect compromise between aerodynamic efficiency and grip on fast tracks.

Custom Configuration: Available with or without mounting eyelets to streamline the look of your race build, and a choice of internal or semi-internal routing.

Custom Finish: All our titanium forks can be anodized. For any specific finish requests, contact our workshop.

Indestructible & Lifetime Warranty: Because Grade 9 titanium does not corrode and withstands the harshest mechanical stresses, this fork is guaranteed for life.

Validated Safety: Design certified to the EN 14781 European safety standard.

Compatibility

Initially developed for the CYKL RAAVE (originally fitted with a 385 mm length), this fork perfectly integrates with titanium gravel or all-road frames equipped with modern standards:

Tapered steerer 1"½ – 1"⅛
100x12 mm front thru-axle
Flat Mount braking standard (Post Mount adapters possible)

To maintain the geometric balance and handling of your current bike, it is recommended to measure the axle-to-crown distance of your original fork before installation. Installing a 385 mm fork on a frame designed for 410 mm will steepen the head angle and significantly lower the front end. If you have any doubts about compatibility with your frame, contact our team.
