GARBARUK Direct Mount gravel/road bike chainring

The direct mount chainring Garbaruk designed for its road/gravel crankset: it bolts straight onto the crank arm, no spider, with a 4.5 mm offset that lines the chain up with the cassette. The narrow-wide teeth with alternating thickness hold the chain through vibration, and the special profile smooths your pedal stroke. Pick it from 36 to 46 teeth, in 8 anodized colors.

Made to order in Poland: allow 2 to 3 weeks.

Key Points

Made for the Garbaruk crankset: direct mount on the brand's road/gravel crank arms, no spider, no extra carrier. The 4.5 mm offset puts the chainline as close as possible to the cassette, so the drivetrain runs straight with no lateral stress.

Narrow-wide teeth with alternating thickness: thick and thin teeth alternate to hold the chain when the bike shakes over rocks, and the raised profile keeps it in place through impacts. Tighter contact with the chain smooths the pedal stroke compared with a standard chainring.

Save 150 to 400 g on the bike: going single-ring removes the front derailleur, its shifter and the chain guide. On a road or gravel bike, you feel the difference in sprints and climbs.

A choice of 36 to 46 teeth, in 8 colors: the tooth count matches your gearing and terrain, from fast rolling roads to hilly rides; the 8 anodized shades match the rest of the Garbaruk drivetrain (cassettes, crankset).

Compatibility

The chainring fits Garbaruk Road/Gravel cranksets, mounting straight onto the crank interface (Cannondale/FSA direct mount standard). It works with 9, 10 and 11-speed chains, 12-speed SRAM Eagle and T-Type chains, KMC, Shimano HG+, and SRAM AXS Flattop 13-speed chains.

Check the offset for your setup: this chainring is set for road and gravel (4.5 mm). For an XC crankset ridden off-road, Garbaruk's MTB direct mount chainring (3 mm offset) keeps a perfect chainline. Need advice on your setup? Write to us.
