The G45 is a stiff and versatile gravel wheelset. The SS wheels are similar to their larger siblings, the DRIVE G-45-CS, in construction, except the spokes are made of steel. SS stands for Steel Spoke . You get almost similar performance, but with a little more comfort and a lower price.

The G45-SS drives use SAPIM CX RAY spokes, which are well-known. Found on most high-end wheels on the market, these profiled spokes provide an excellent dynamics, weight, and strength ratio. The G45 wheelset features a high-end hub that uses a sealed double-wall design. The hub sidewalls have been specially designed for ease of use and maintenance. The hubs have premium ceramic bearings for less rolling resistance. Ceramic bearings have a considerably longer lifespan than steel bearings.

The wheelset has passed the 20,000km factory/lab rough surface tests that simulate gravel riding conditions. This far exceeds the EN 17406 test standard.
