The G45 is a stiff and versatile wheelset for gravel riding . The SS version is similar to its bigger sibling, the DRIVE G-45-CS, in its construction, except for the steel spokes. SS stands for Steel Spoke . You get almost identical performance, but with a bit more comfort and a lower price.

The G45-SS wheelset uses SAPIM CX RAY spokes, which need no introduction. Found on most high-end wheels on the market, these bladed spokes provide an excellent balance of responsiveness, weight, and strength. The G45 wheelset features a high-end hub with a double-walled, sealed design. The hub's sidewalls have been specially designed for ease of use and maintenance. The hubs have premium ceramic bearings for reduced rolling resistance. Ceramic bearings have a significantly longer lifespan than steel bearings.

The wheelset passed factory/laboratory tests on rough surfaces over 20,000 km, simulating gravel riding conditions. This far exceeds the EN 17406 test standard.
