The Elite Drive II wheelsets embody a precise approach to the stiffness-to-weight ratio for road and allroad use. Available in three rim profiles (36mm, 50mm, 65mm) with a 23mm internal width, they optimize the tire bed for 28 to 30mm setups to deliver maximum efficiency on the road. This build relies on replaceable 4.5mm carbon spokes and ceramic bearing hubs, ensuring linear power transfer and long-term reliability.

Four years ago, CYKL became the first bicycle brand to trust and integrate Elitewheels into its builds, establishing a mutual partnership rooted in wheel performance. This long-term relationship naturally led us to become the brand's official after-sales service (warranty/service) center for all of Europe. In the event of maintenance or warranty claims, there is no international middleman: you deal directly with the CYKL workshop. We handle diagnostics, warranties, and servicing in-house, guaranteeing a turnaround that complies strictly with manufacturer specifications.

Key Features

The rim profile features a reduced-hook design compliant with ETRTO standards, offering high-pressure safety paired with the smooth interface and efficiency of a seamless tire-to-rim transition. Power transmission is handled by a 5-axis CNC-machined Kinetic II hub, integrating a 50-tooth star ratchet mechanism for instant engagement. The bladed carbon spokes increase lateral stiffness by 8% compared to steel equivalents while maintaining permanent alignment. The entire system spins on S&S ceramic bearings housed with a precision tolerance of ±0.02mm.

Compatibility

This wheelset is built for standard thru-axles (Center Lock disc rotors) and offers a choice of freehub bodies for Shimano 11/12s or SRAM XDR 12s drivetrains.
