The Hope Union GC clipless pedal, for enduro and downhill. Large platform, seven pins per side or traction plates: the foot stays locked in when it gets messy. Cr-Mo axle.
The Hope Union GC pedal is a clipless pedal for enduro, downhill and electric mountain bikes. It takes the Union mechanism and surrounds it with a large platform, fitted with seven pins per side or with traction plates. Your foot stays locked in when you ride unclipped through rocks. CNC-machined body.
Key Points
Seven pins per side: you screw them in to suit the height of your sole. The foot stops moving on the platform in committed sections.
Optional traction plates: instead of the pins, eight grooved plates increase the contact area. The sole stays free to move sideways so you can unclip when you need to.
Hardened Cr-Mo axle: a treated, plated chromoly axle, built to take rock strikes. Titanium version available separately.
Wide mechanism, easy engagement: the gate moves out of the way as the cleat enters, and power goes through the whole platform.
Compatibility
9/16 inch thread. 55 mm Q-factor, the distance between your two pedals: your feet stay close together so you can pedal without your knees splaying out, even on a full day at the bike park.
The Hope mechanism uses a specific cleat, not compatible with other systems; No. 4 and No. 5 cleats are included. A question about your setup? Write to us, the workshop answers from Montpellier.
