The Hutchinson GRIFFUS Tire

Developed through close collaboration between top-level riders and Hutchinson engineers in the Racing Lab program, the Griffus 2.4 is the ultimate rear tire for riders who take on demanding lines. Its knobs are designed to provide a continuous contact patch, ensuring consistent and reliable grip, whether pedaling or braking. The RR Gravity compound is specially formulated with a harder center layer for optimal stability, while the sidewalls are softer, providing superior cornering grip, better deformation, and extended rebound to soften the most intense impacts. For optimal performance, combine it with the Griffus 2.5 front tire to achieve the perfect combo.

The winning tire in enduro competition

The Griffus is the rolling version of the model, featuring a central tread that offers an optimal balance between efficiency and braking power. With a width of 57 mm, it harmonizes perfectly with the 58 mm 2.50 version. It proves to be the preferred choice for our riders looking for precious fractions of a second in competition, especially when installed at the rear. This version of the Griffus is not exclusively intended for enduro and downhill enthusiasts, but can also be mounted at the front for versatile All Mountain practice.
