The Ritchey WCS Butano Internal Routing handlebar meets the demands of modern Gravel and Allroad builds by eliminating front-end cable clutter. Its triple-butted 7050 aluminum alloy construction delivers high mechanical strength under bikepacking loads while filtering out trail chatter. The geometry pairs a shallow drop (115 mm) with a rearward-angled top flat to support the palm in a natural position without bending the wrist.

Key Features

Triple-butted 6066 alloy: Variable-thickness tubing weighing 290 g on the scale, engineered to withstand strap pressure from handlebar bags.

18° Drop Flare: Clears forearm space in the drops to stabilize steering through rough technical sections without excessively tilting the brake hoods.

5° Backsweep: Slightly angles the top section toward the rider to shorten reach and relieve neck and shoulder tension.

Internal cable routing: Dedicated ports under the clamping area to guide hydraulic hoses and gear cables directly into the stem.

Compatibility

Mounts to standard 31.8 mm clamp diameter stems. The 31.8x25 mm ovalized top section provides a comfortable resting area while leaving ample room to lock down computer mounts or handlebar bag brackets. Suitable for hydraulic and mechanical shift/brake levers across Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo Road/Gravel groupsets.
