Yes. The 8-bolt direct mount interface on the back of the Stone crank arms uses the exact standard SRAM 8-bolt pattern. You can directly mount SRAM RED, Force, or Rival AXS power meter spiders, as well as Quarq power meter spiders.

Is this crankset compatible with a Shimano groupset?

Yes. Simply replace your current bottom bracket with a SRAM DUB spindle compatible bottom bracket (28.99 mm diameter) matching your frame's standard (BSA, PressFit BB86, T47, etc.).

Do I need to change my chain to use the Stone Aero chainring?

No. The Narrow-Wide tooth profile is compatible with 10, 11, and 12-speed 1x and multi-speed chains from Shimano and SRAM (including SRAM Flattop and Eagle chains).

Can I change the chainring size later without replacing the crank arms?

Yes. The crank arms use the standard SRAM Direct Mount 8-bolt interface. You can unbolt the chainring via 8 Torx screws to change your tooth count (from 38T to 50T) without removing the spindle from the frame.

What is the gain compared to a stock SRAM Apex/Rival or Shimano GRX 600 crankset?

In addition to full 7075-T651 aluminum CNC machining that eliminates flex found on entry and mid-range cast cranksets, the Direct Mount integration saves approximately 150 to 200 grams while refining the overall look of your drivetrain.
