Why replace my carbon fork with titanium?

Carbon is lightweight but often feels harsh or vague under load. Grade 9 titanium offers superior vibration damping that reduces fatigue, while our Tri-Process construction provides lateral stiffness that makes steering much more predictable and reassuring at high speeds.

Is the fork truly "indestructible"?

Titanium is inherently much more resistant to impacts and fatigue than carbon. With EN 14781 certification and our 3D printing and forging processes, this fork is designed to last a lifetime, even under heavy use while fully loaded.

What is the impact of the additional weight on handling?

The ~200g difference compared to a carbon fork shifts the mass downwards. This lowering of the center of gravity stabilizes the bike and makes it easier to position the front wheel in tight corners. You gain a planted feel without losing responsiveness.

Is it compatible with dynamo hubs?

Yes, the semi-internal routing version was designed for long-distance riders. It allows for clean cable routing to power your lighting or devices via a dynamo hub.

Can the CYKL titanium fork be mounted on a titanium frame from another brand?

Yes, provided the frame uses the same standards. The points to check are: - Tapered steerer 1"½ – 1"⅛ - Front thru-axle 100x12 mm - Flat mount braking standard - Head tube and front triangle clearance for tires up to 47C (395 mm) or 55C (410 mm) - Original axle-to-crown length of the current fork, to be compared with 395 or 410 mm If these elements match, the GRAAVE fork can be mounted on another brand's titanium frame without compromising safety. It remains recommended to check tire/frame clearance and final cockpit height, especially for heavily loaded or demanding use. If in doubt, contact the CYKL team.

CYKL GRAAVE titanium 410 mm gravel fork for bikepakcing

3 total reviews

The 410 mm titanium fork built for the GRAAVE: a front end that filters vibration without flexing, thanks to Tri-Process technology. The 700x55C clearance lets you load the bike for bikepacking without losing precision.

Built for the CYKL GRAAVE, whose geometry is optimized for a 410 mm axle-to-crown length, this titanium fork radically changes the way your bike handles. By moving mass down, it lowers the center of gravity: the bike becomes instantly more nimble in singletracks and more stable when you descend a pass at high speed. Where carbon can feel dry and buzzy, titanium filters out road chatter, letting you ride longer without fatigue while keeping a millimeter-precise line.

Points clés

Tri-Process : The combination of three manufacturing processes (3D printing, forging, hydroforming) to eliminate any lateral flex and deliver total steering precision.

Maniabilité accrue : A lower center of gravity for a bike that is more playful on descents and easier to place through technical singletracks, without losing stability.

Géométrie 410 mm : The stock length of the CYKL GRAAVE. Clearance for up to 700x55C tires for committed bikepacking and heavy loads.

Prête pour l'aventure : 6 mounting eyelets as standard (compatible with racks and cages) and internal or semi-internal cable routing for a clean, reliable build. Dynamo hub compatible.

Finition sur mesure : All our titanium forks can be anodized. For any custom finish request, contact our workshop.

Indestructible & Garantie à vie : Because titanium does not corrode and withstands the worst stresses, this fork comes with a lifetime warranty.

Sécurité validée : Design certified to the European safety standard EN 14781.

Compatibilité

Designed for the CYKL GRAAVE, this fork also fits most titanium frames on the market equipped with modern standards:

Tapered headset 1.5" to 1.125"
100x12 mm thru-axle
Flat Mount brake standard. Post Mount adapters can be added.

It can replace the stock fork of a bike from another brand whose geometry accepts a 410 mm length. To keep your current bike's geometry balanced, measure the axle-to-crown distance of your original fork before swapping. If you have any doubt, contact us. We are here to help.

Tri-Process Manufacturing

With our Tri-Process manufacturing method, we solved the main flaw of early titanium forks: the lack of stiffness. By combining 3D printing, forging, and hydroforming of titanium, we achieve an ultra-stiff, responsive structure, even under heavy bikepacking loads. Naturally immune to corrosion and mechanical fatigue, titanium gives this fork truly indestructible durability. Once you get used to this level of responsiveness and reliability, switching back to a carbon fork will leave the front end of your bike feeling vague and fragile.

for absolute strength under braking forces. The result: an unyielding front end, even under load.

Titanium anodizing

Anodizing is done to order in our workshop. An electrolytic bath colors the titanium at the structural level without paint or coating: the color is part of the metal itself, meaning it won't chip or scratch off. It is a living finish: oils enhance color saturation, while rain softens its tones. Every single piece is unique.
