The RAAVE architecture, configured for pure speed. Baptized 'Red Light'.
On the scale, the figure is absolute: 7.9 kg. For a race gravel forged in titanium, this is a highly competitive featherweight. This build does not chase the absolute record; it defines the exact tipping point between structural stiffness, race reliability, and lively acceleration.
The foundation of this responsiveness is a strict material curation. Together with the client, we decided to pair a SRAM Red XPLR drivetrain with a Cybrei crankset, mated to a CNC-machined aluminum Stone chainring. The intention is clear: subtract dead weight while locking in power transfer. Elitewheels Drive G45 wheels and the CYKL integrated gravel cockpit dictate the trajectory, with zero dispersion. We do, however, allow for comfort with 700x45c Hutchinson Touareg tires.
Could we go lower? Yes, clearly. A more radical component selection would drop this figure for ultralight obsessives. But this 'Red Light' build sets our standard for long-distance efforts: lightness only makes sense if it preserves a rational budget.
