Features

The rims

ELITE rims are designed specifically to meet the needs of recreational cyclists. Unlike the alloy rims found on most road bikes, Marvel wheels are stronger, stiffer, far more aerodynamic, and considerably lighter. In fact, wheels play the most important role in a bike's aerodynamics. Rather than reducing weight elsewhere, a lighter rim saves rotational weight, resulting in a more agile feel and quicker acceleration.

All wheels are tubeless-ready, with pre-installed tubeless tape. Each rim features a unique R-shaped design for tubeless setup, making installation easier. To further simplify tubeless tire mounting, the rims are designed with tire bead retention ridges, allowing for easy inflation with a simple floor pump.

Available in several rim heights: 38, 50, 60 or 80 mm to suit your needs and riding style.

The rays

Choosing the right spokes to build a wheel is essential. ELITE has specifically selected Pillar PA 1423 aerodynamic profile spokes. They are cold-forged, making them strong and capable of withstanding over 300 kg of tension.

The hubs

Marvel disc wheels feature high-flange hubs that provide greater lateral stiffness, improving stability. Both the front and rear hubs use ceramic bearings with an extremely low coefficient of friction, saving you valuable watts. The front hub uses 6803 ceramic bearings, while the rear hub uses three 6803 bearings and one 6903 bearing. The larger the bearing, the better the stiffness.

The bearings

The Marvel front hub uses two 6803 mixed ceramic bearings. The rear hub uses one 6903 bearing and three 6803 mixed ceramic bearings. These larger bearings offer greater durability compared to standard-sized ones. Using larger mixed ceramic bearings will give you a more efficient bike, allowing you to save valuable watts.
