The Elitewheels Drive G42 wheelset is built for gravel riders fitting 700x40c to 700x60c tires for riding on rough terrain. Its 42mm deep carbon rim features a 28mm internal channel that widens the tire footprint without distorting its sidewalls. The assembly relies on a single-piece titanium freehub body that resists cassette gouging, paired with steel spokes balanced within a maximum tension variance of 7 kgf.

28mm internal width: Widens the tire base for 40mm to 60mm rubber to prevent lateral tire squirm when cornering at low pressures.

Single-piece titanium freehub: Prevents cassette notch gouging during hard accelerations and eliminates assembly play thanks to its monolithic machined structure.

Controlled spoke tension: Maintains a tension variance under 7 kgf across spokes to preserve wheel trueness on rough tracks.

Hooked rim bead: Locks the Tubeless or clincher tire bead in place to prevent burping under vertical impacts.

Compatibility

These wheels are compatible with gravel frames equipped with Center Lock disc brakes and thru-axles measuring 12x100 mm up front and 12x142 mm at the rear. The rim accommodates tires ranging from 700x40C to 700x60C in Tubeless or inner tube setups (tubeless tape and valves pre-installed).

The Shimano Micro Spline freehub body uses specific axle and bearing dimensions: it is not interchangeable with Shimano HG or SRAM XDR bodies on the same hub shell.
