Titanium offers greater comfort, strength, and durability. Ideal for bikepacking, high mileage, or heavy loads. Carbon is lighter and stiffer, perfect for performance, acceleration, and rolling terrain.
Titanium or carbon fork?
We have designed each fork to match a specific model in our range, with a specific length and offset. We have made sure to make them compatible with a vast majority of bikes on the market . In titanium or carbon. with or without inserts for luggage racks. with internal cable routing for all our bikes or semi-internal.

Carbon forks
Designed from high modulus Toray T1000/T800 carbon fiber , each carbon fork is laminated specifically for its use . Thin, light and stiff for the road, robust with good vibration filtration on our gravel forks. Lighter than our titanium forks , they are responsive while filtering vibrations. However, they are less tolerant of localized impacts and require careful assembly. On rough terrain or with heavy luggage, their limits appear more quickly than with titanium.

Titanium fork
Made from grade 9 titanium (Ti-3Al-2.5V), our forks combine several manufacturing methods. The tapered tube is turned from a single block, the shoulders are 3D printed, the arms are hydroformed, and the chainstays are forged. The goal is clear: to provide unmatched vibration filtration and comfort, to confer braking and lateral stiffness well above that of carbon forks, while controlling weight. All this with unparalleled durability.
Titanium doesn't rust, oxidize, or fatigue, and is not sensitive to temperature or the elements. You'll retain the fork's properties forever, just like our bicycle frames.
Whether for bikepacking or long-distance use, CYKL titanium forks withstand loads without weakening (dynamo, panniers, mudguards), thanks to their uniform mechanical resistance. Certified EN 14781 , they withstand anything for a long time. A true "frame for life" choice, for those who ride far, long and often.
FAQ – Choosing the right fork
Titanium or carbon: what is the real difference in the field?
Can I install a carbon fork on my CYKL titanium bike?
Yes, all our carbon and titanium forks have been designed for each of our models. They have a specific center distance (axle-to-crown length) and offset (rake). They are compatible with our frames (GRAAVE, RAAVE, SWIIFT, AARNY, etc.). If you have any questions, contact us.
What are our forks compatible with? (dynamo, inserts)
Our titanium forks are available with or without inserts, with internal or semi-internal cable routing, and with or without dynamo cable routing. These modifications are made to order in our Montpellier workshops. Carbon forks will have these options depending on the model.
Are CYKL forks guaranteed?
Yes. Like all our titanium components, titanium forks come with a lifetime warranty. Carbon forks come with a 2-year warranty.
How do I know if my fork is compatible with my bike?
Check these four points:
- The fork tube must be tapered 1"½ → 1"⅛ (tapered).
- The fork axle must be through axle with a hub spacing of 100 x 12 mm for road and gravel forks and 110 to 15 mm for mountain bike forks.
- The distance between the wheel axle and the fork crown should be similar to your existing fork.
- The standard brake caliper mounting system should be flat mount on road and gravel forks and post mount on mountain bike forks.
- Caliper adapters are available.
